Why GoPro 6
GoPro just launched it’s Hero 6 version on 28th Sept. If you love to do videography, GoPro introduced many new features in its new camera which will amaze you for sure.
The company improved many key areas in GoPro 6 like top end resolution, higher frame rate, better stabilisation, super-fast GP1 processor, HDR and RAW photography, faster wifi, improved dynamic range and has better low light performance.
GoPro 6 Design
Looks wise GoPro 6 is almost the same as GoPro Hero 5. The camera feels exactly the same in hand as it’s previous version.
GoPro 6 has two inch touchscreen at back but has better resolution and responsiveness compared to Hero 5.
Many users were complaining that the swipe gesture in GoPro 5 was not working as expected and I think GoPro listen to these complains. Thanks to #Nick Woodman!
GoPro 6 is waterproof till 10 meter where you don’t need an additional housing, which makes it easy to operate.
Processing Power of GoPro Hero 6
This new camera has custom-designed GP1 processor which is much faster compared Hero 5. It allows you to capture higher resolution videos at higher frame rate. GoPro Hero 5 used to capture 4K video at 30 frame per second (FPS) where as GoPro 6 doubles the frame rate to 60 FPS.
Talking about the slow-motion, we used to get 1080p resolution at 120 FPS with Hero 5 but with GoPro 6, it has improved to 1080p/240FPS for smoother videos.
This awesome processor not only gives you better frame rates but also gives you better colours and dynamic range.
Better Stabilised Videos with GoPro 6
There is a significant improvement in image stabilisation in GoPro 6 for your action videos. Now you can do the stabilisation at 4K/30FPS with it’s new GP1 processor. You can run, jump, hike, bike and you would still get better stabilised videos.
